About The Position

This role is responsible for troubleshooting equipment problems and performing immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment. The Senior Maintenance Mechanic will also be involved in overhauling and installing new equipment, rebuilding and fabricating parts, and performing facility maintenance to ensure a clean and safe work area. Additionally, they will manage parts requests, generate and complete work orders, and perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within a high-speed industrial environment.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow manufacturer’s specifications and schematics.
May be required to supply hand tools.

Nice To Haves

Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification preferred.
2+ years of mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment.
Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over.
