About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of maintenance duties for both equipment and facilities. The responsibilities include carpentry, painting, basic equipment and facility repairs, and simple electrical work. The position requires adjusting, maintaining, repairing, and fabricating parts for general plant and production machinery. A strong understanding of electro-mechanical applications, motors, engines, pumps, vacuum and pneumatic systems, heating, ventilation, piping & plumbing, carpentry, and electrical circuitry is essential. The role also includes maintaining the upkeep of the grounds and facility, working in various areas as needed, and ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the work area. Adherence to all safety regulations, S.O.P.'s, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP's is mandatory. The company, Sheffield Pharmaceuticals, is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • High mechanical comprehension.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous welding and/or machining experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the upkeep of the grounds and facility as needed.
  • Works in various areas/departments as needed.
  • Other assigned tasks as necessary assigned by Management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of work area.
  • Responsible for following all safety regulations and complying with S.O.P.'s, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP's while performing duties.
  • Follow all Environmental and OSHA requirements.
  • Attend in-house training sessions.
