Requirements

  • 7+ Years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery in production environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Knowledge of the function, wiring, and troubleshooting PLC’s
  • Locating and diagnosing trouble in electrical systems or equipment
  • Knowledge of the functions and troubleshooting VFDs and motor control circuits.
  • Ability to work any shift, overtime and weekends as needed, to support production schedules and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
  • Be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
  • This position requires taking a maintenance skills test prior to interviewing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
  • A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment in an around-the-clock production environment.
  • Performing special assignments, such as new equipment installations.
  • Performing preventive maintenance duties.
  • Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, production machines and equipment, physical structures, plumbing, hydraulic, electrical, PLCs, bearings, welding, and automated systems.
