About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to support production/ facility operations through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Requirements

2+ years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent in a manufacturing or process environment
Hands-on experience with: Mechanical systems and equipment repair
Hands-on experience with: Industrial piping and plumbing
Hands-on experience with: Basic electrical and facility maintenance
Welding experience required, including MIG, TIG, or stick welding in an industrial setting
Pipefitting and pipe welding (stainless steel and/or carbon steel)

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
Respond to equipment issues and support rapid troubleshooting to minimize downtime
Execute work orders, including documentation, parts tracking, and close-out
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hot work permits, and safe equipment operation
Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts) in a safe manner
Maintain and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
Install, repair, and modify piping systems, including PVC, copper, stainless steel, and carbon steel
Conduct leak detection and system testing for gas and liquid systems
Read and interpret basic P&IDs and mechanical drawings
Perform hands-on welding (MIG, TIG, and/or stick) for equipment repair, piping, and general fabrication
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs (primarily low voltage)
Perform basic HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting, including inspection of refrigeration systems and components
