The Maintenance Mechanic I is responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of all refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, boilers, air compressors, condensers systems, and waste-water treatment system. This role requires a strong understanding of refrigeration advanced 2-stage design concepts and the ability to read and follow basic and advanced drawings and schematics. The position also involves providing training to other Utility team members, utilizing construction and fabrication skills, and ensuring the mechanical integrity of the ammonia system per RMP/PSM guidance. The Maintenance Mechanic I is expected to be actively involved in all elements of the PSM/RMP programs, be an active member of the emergency response team, and complete daily shift record keeping and reporting.
