About The Position

As the Maintenance Mechanic 3 for Auxiliary Facilities Services, you will plan, coordinate, and perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and systems within Student Affairs-operated dining facilities. You will provide technical expertise, guidance, and leadership to maintenance staff involved in the maintenance, operation, and alteration of dining facilities, helping to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations.

Requirements

• High school graduation and four years of general work experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction or repair work or completion of a recognized apprenticeship in a skilled mechanic trade and one year of journey-level experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction, or repair work or equivalent education/experience.
• Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with pumps, motors and electrical.
• Experience with building control systems.
• Experience maintaining and repairing weight and cardio equipment.
