About The Position

Royal Fresh Cuts is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and manage day-to-day maintenance operations at its fast-paced food manufacturing facilities. The role calls for a strong people manager who can train, coach, develop, and hold the maintenance team accountable. The company will provide training on its specific machinery, but the manager must bring solid industrial maintenance experience and be able to troubleshoot equipment and guide the team through repairs. Regular onsite hours will primarily be during first shift, with flexibility to support and manage both shifts and weekends as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience leading and developing a maintenance team.
Strong people-management, coaching, and communication skills.
Strong industrial equipment troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Manufacturing maintenance experience is required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily maintenance operations.
Supervise, train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and leads.
Set expectations and hold employees accountable for safety, quality, and performance.
Assign and prioritize maintenance work based on production needs.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Manage preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability.
Coordinate vendors, contractors, parts, tools, and maintenance inventory.
Partner with Production, FSQA, Warehouse, and Operations.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, GMP, SQF, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
Manage the yearly maintenance budget.
