About The Position

As the Maintenance Manager at River Sands RV Resort, you will lead the daily maintenance operations, ensuring the resort remains safe, beautiful, and operates at the highest standards. This role involves overseeing preventive maintenance, capital improvement projects, grounds, facilities, equipment, and a maintenance team dedicated to creating an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, prioritizing work orders, coordinating vendors, managing inventory and departmental expenses, and ensuring all resort facilities are in excellent operating condition. Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, cabins, amenities, pools, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, vehicles, and irrigation systems. You will also be responsible for grounds and landscaping, including irrigation, lawn care, tree maintenance, weed control, and storm cleanup. A key aspect of this role is championing a safety-first culture through regular meetings, training, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Previous leadership experience managing maintenance operations, preferably in hospitality, resorts, RV parks, hotels, or multi-family communities.
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, irrigation, pools, and general building maintenance.
Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programs.
Budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management experience a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional on-call responsibilities.
