About The Position

Northwest Frozen is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead its second-shift maintenance team at its Des Moines, Washington food production facility. The role is responsible for keeping production lines running safely and reliably, combining team leadership with hands-on equipment troubleshooting and repair. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their mechanical skills on real equipment during a working interview.

Requirements

Excellent hands-on mechanical skills.
At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, including at least 1 year leading a team.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience with a CMMS or work-order system.
Comfort working in cold, wet production areas; reliability, organization, and a safety-minded approach.
Willingness to demonstrate skills on real equipment in a working interview.

Responsibilities

Lead, schedule, and coach the second-shift maintenance team.
Keep preventive maintenance and work orders on schedule and properly documented.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment hands-on, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Work with production to set priorities and reduce downtime.
Enforce lockout/tagout, safety, and food safety/GMP rules.
Provide a clear handoff to the day-shift team.
