About The Position

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining the facility in the highest quality and working condition possible, ensuring a work environment that reflects the company’s image. This role involves overseeing all aspects of facility maintenance, including preventative maintenance, equipment repair, groundskeeping, and project management, while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Good General Maintenance Knowledge of all areas of maintenance such as HVAC, Air Handlers, Electrical, Fabrication, Welding, Carpentry, Painting, Cleaning, and PM Programs
  • Good leadership qualities and abilities
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations
  • Knowledge of proper documentation
  • Experience with Mig Welding
  • Project Management skills
  • Organizational Support - Clear understanding and demonstration of Prasco core values
  • High School Diploma or the equivalent required
  • Required to stand most of the time and to sit, talk, see, and hear
  • Required to walk, lift, and move up to 100 pounds
  • Must use hands and fingers to operate controls/equipment/computer
  • Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned
  • Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school preferred
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience as a supervisor in a maintenance environment preferred
  • Forklift License preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preventative maintenance schedule
  • Analyzes, diagnosis and resolves equipment problems
  • Directs workers engaged in ground maintenance to include mowing lawns, snow removal, and disposing of leaves and refuse
  • Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards
  • Manage and support all projects around campus
  • Direct and coordinate all activities such as cleaning, repairs and installation of all machines and equipment, and in the maintenance of the building grounds and utility systems of the facility
  • Maintains and monitors inventory supplies and orders appropriate materials and stock items
  • Manage the regular maintenance programs, maintain equipment records, and prioritize the workload
  • Installs new automation and conveyors and repairs electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
  • A focal point for communications with all departments to interact with maintenance so that work is completed with minimal disruption of day-to-day operations
  • On call 24 hours, 7 days a week to manage emergencies
  • Test and observes mechanical devices in operation to locate potential problems and make necessary adjustments for improvement
  • Conducts duties in a safe and compliant manner
