About The Position

Directs and coordinates activities of industrial organizations to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of operations experience required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Strong self-starter.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Strong PC skills

Responsibilities

  • Follow all SOPs, COPs, and cGMPs as directed
  • Coordinates activities of warehouse and interacts with departments such as operations, sales and marketing, customer service, for effective operational efficiency and economy.
  • Analyzes department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made, and allocates operating budget
  • Must be proficient at analyzing current and future Distribution activities and implementation of approved activities
  • Effectively communicate issues with all levels of the organization when appropriate.
  • Proficiency of all competencies within Distribution including problem resolution
  • Responsible for timely inventories for the Cage and Vault.
  • Ultimately responsible for inventory accuracy and ensuring security procedures are followed.
  • Hands-on assistance for all warehouse activities (picking, shipping, etc.) to maintain company production requirements.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and accuracy of billing from couriers.
  • Direct involvement with Facilities to support equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Work directly with logistics providers, outside vendors and customers to ensure best costs and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure that the department employees are using approved and appropriate safety/security measures.
  • Aware of external influences that can impact efficiency such as legislation, fuel costs and environmental action.
  • Conduct duties in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
