About The Position

The Maintenance Manager oversees facility maintenance for the entire apartment community. This is a working supervisory position involving a wide variety of preventive maintenance and repair responsibilities. Rotating on-call shifts are required.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Direct experience in residential facility maintenance.
• Strong supervision, troubleshooting, communication, training, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance for the entire apartment community.
• Perform a wide variety of preventive maintenance and repair work.
• Delegate assignments effectively.
• Establish and adjust work procedures to meet schedules.
• Implement changes to increase productivity.
• Mentor new and current maintenance staff.
• Inspect the quality of completed work.
• Manage inventory control and requisitions.
