About The Position

Parrish & Heimbecker (P&H) is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated Maintenance Manager for its Milling division in Springbrook, AB. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science Technologist (AScT), Journeyman/Red Seal trades certification as Millwright or Electrician.
Supervisory experience leading a small team.
Working knowledge with any CMMS software.
Ability to read, follow and understand electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals and manufacturers' specifications.
Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.

Nice To Haves

Experience in project management would be an asset.
Familiar with BRCGS (food safety) protocols.
Experience working with organized labour.
Experience with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Provide direction and leadership through effective coaching and mentoring.
Maintain an effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
Maintain transparent and effective communication with Production, QA, OH&S teams.
Plan and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery, including plant equipment, piping systems, pneumatic systems, and facility structure/services.
Provide recommendations and suggestions to address plant and equipment deficiencies or for continuous improvement through root cause analysis (RCA).
Assist in managing and controlling maintenance costs and budget.
Maintain documents and records in accordance with policies and procedures.
Manage equipment inventory and procurement of parts.
Assist in the installation of Capital projects, including research, cost estimates, sourcing of contractors, and project timelines.
