About The Position

Fluor is seeking a Maintenance Manager, Infrastructure to manage the day-to-day project operations, ensuring contract standards are met cost-effectively, safely, and efficiently. This role involves executing asset management and maintenance programs according to approved operating guidelines and budget. Key responsibilities include project management strategy, client relationship management, team building, and fulfilling other contractual requirements. The position also involves identifying, initiating, and directing problem-solving contingency planning.

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience, OR a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
  • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
  • Experience with complex highway infrastructure projects and/or maintenance programs on major urban highway projects.
  • 5 or more years of leading or management of projects, staff, and subcontractors.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day project operations to ensure contract standards are met in a cost-effective, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Execute asset management and maintenance programs in accordance with approved operating guidelines and budget.
  • Manage project management strategy, client relationships, team building, and other key contractual requirements.
  • Identify, initiate, and direct problem-solving contingency planning.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage human and capital resources to meet key performance indicators and financial objectives.
  • Manage response to critical issues relating to delivery per contract standards and conditions.
  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of the project management plan in collaboration with the Director O&M, consistent with client and contract needs.
  • Maintain effective lines of communication within the project and management.
  • Provide structure, support, administrative systems, and methodologies to meet contract obligations in relation to quality, safety, contractor agreements, procurement, cost control, scheduling, and estimating management processes and procedures.
  • Proactively respond to issues impacting contract requirements and facilitate timely solutions, sharing methodologies for systemic improvements.
  • Organize, direct, manage, and coordinate project team members to build teamwork and ensure high performance.
  • Provide leadership and proactive management and direction for a cohesive and sustainable team environment.
  • Comply with Company Quality Assurance and Safety programs, policies, systems, and procedures, including federal, state, and local legislation.
  • Monitor financial performance, conduct financial analysis, and prepare performance information and recommendations for periodic reports to management.
  • Monitor contract and project compliance with company policies and procedures regarding legal, financial, safety, and administration matters.
  • Provide input into the development, review, negotiation, and implementation of subcontractor and supplier agreements.
  • Establish and report appropriate metrics for measuring contract performance.
  • Ensure the overall safety of all project personnel and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Develop and maintain a partnership approach with the customer, demonstrating a sound understanding of their needs and effectively resolving problems and client concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
