GFL Environmental is looking for a Maintenance Manager II to take the helm at our Wilson, North Carolina branch. This role is for a mechanical mastermind who thrives on variety, leadership, and maintaining a fleet that powers the community. Requirements

• Prior supervisory experience in a shop or maintenance setting.
• A High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to obtain a Certified Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months.
• DOT certification for air brake inspection.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of a bustling shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of technicians.
• Ensure the fleet is the safest and most efficient on the road through preventative maintenance programs and major overhauls.
• Use industry-leading tools (like TMW, I-Pak, and JDEdwards) to track expenses and manage inventory.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure the shop is the gold standard for compliance and cleanliness.
