The Maintenance Line Tech I role is responsible for executing preventative maintenance tasks, performing repairs, and contributing to equipment reliability and effectiveness. This position involves executing welding, machining, and fabrication tasks (excluding Zone 1 sanitary welding), conducting root cause failure analysis, and developing/improving preventative maintenance plans. The role also includes supporting maintenance leadership with equipment bill of materials and spare parts inventory, training other associates, maintaining positive relationships with external partners, and participating in assigned teams. Calibration of mechanical and pneumatic process equipment is also a key responsibility. Overtime may be required, and coverage for peers is expected. Adherence to Hotwork Permit and Fire watch regulations, as well as documentation using the SAP system, are essential. Strong written and oral communication skills, along with keyboarding and typing proficiency for Microsoft Office applications, are preferred. Accountability for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and Safety, Health, and Environmental systems is required.
