About The Position

The Maintenance Level 4 (IV) – (Automation Technician) supports production personnel to help ensure efficient equipment operation. The role performs preventive maintenance, creates and monitors work orders for scheduled repairs and parts tracking, and troubleshoots and repairs equipment support systems and components. It also assists with equipment installations and rebuilds and provides shift and production-line coverage as needed. The position includes PLC programming and troubleshooting, HMI troubleshooting, and work with Allen Bradley, SIEMENS, and SEW systems. Various start and end times are listed. Pay is $35.24 per hour, with an additional shift differential of $0.10 for second shift and $0.30 for third shift.

Requirements

Ability to use machine shop equipment, including punch presses, mills, lathes, grinders, and hand tools.
Proficient SAP skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Support and work cooperatively with production personnel to help ensure efficient equipment operation.
Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Create and monitor work orders for scheduled repairs and parts tracking and availability.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment support systems and components, such as conveyor belts, motors, and grinders, in a timely manner.
Assist with new equipment installation and equipment rebuilds.
Backfill positions on other shifts as needed to cover vacations and time off.
Help provide coverage during working hours to all plant lines.
Conduct PLC programming and troubleshooting and HMI troubleshooting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
