About The Position

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for following all safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and performing routine maintenance on equipment. This role involves responding quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems. The position also includes operating and monitoring the facility boiler, completing maintenance records, and collaborating with team members, vendors, and subcontractors. Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma (or GED) is required.
  • One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
  • Willingness to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance (e.g., lubrication, inspections, adjustments).
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems using appropriate tools, manuals, and schematics.
  • Safely operate and monitor the facility boiler, ensuring steam pressure remains above 180 PSI.
  • Accurately complete maintenance records and keep supervisors informed of equipment issues and progress.
  • Work effectively with team members, vendors, and subcontractors to meet maintenance goals and support plant operations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support overall maintenance and production efficiency.
