Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of maintenance or facility operations experience in a hotel or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems, facilities maintenance, and repair procedures
  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of building code requirements and safety standards
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality’s standards are critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all building systems and equipment
  • Complete and document all work orders in a timely, accurate, and organized manner
  • Conduct daily property walkthroughs to monitor the condition of all spaces and respond to any urgent issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
  • Maintain working knowledge of all mechanical equipment (e.g., chillers, boilers, water softeners, refrigeration units, etc.)
  • Ensure proper care and operation of shuttle vehicles and back of house equipment
  • Interpret blueprints, building codes, and safety regulations; ensure compliance with all applicable laws
  • Oversee and support sourcing, hiring, training, and development of maintenance team members
  • Provide coaching, task assignments, and performance feedback to the maintenance staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory and ensure availability of tools, parts, and supplies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance area
  • Other duties as assigned
