About The Position

The Paskin Group at The Madrid Apartments in Arlington, TX is looking to hire a full-time Lead Maintenance Supervisor to help us maintain our properties. As a lead maintenance supervisor, you play a key role in ensuring our residents are happy with their residences. By working closely with your property manager and assistant maintenance technician, your main responsibilities are completing work orders, managing inventory, diagnosing and completing repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, drywall, etc... Requirements

  • HVAC and pool certified
  • Demonstrating familiarity with, and able to use, a variety of hand tools and equipment
  • Giving and receiving instructions and preparing work orders and reports
  • Identifying, reviewing, and obtaining bids on projects in need of supervision from outside contractors
  • Setting priorities and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • Troubleshooting repairs and determining solutions
  • Ability to frequently lift 50-75lbs
  • Able to sit, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, carry supplies and stand for extended periods of time
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Completing work orders
  • Managing inventory
  • Diagnosing and completing repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, drywall, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain all buildings that are assigned while implementing safety standards that comply with company, local, city, state, and federal guideline, delegating work to your assistant and vendors as necessary
  • Communicate with residents and gather valuable insight into the needs of the community with a professional and courteous tone
  • Oversee maintenance staff and ensure that performance meets company standards
  • Assist in the make ready process, inspecting units, and practice and promote safety awareness at all time
  • Ensure the workshop, utility room, and mechanical rooms are always clean, orderly, and free of potential hazards
  • Respond within thirty minutes during your designated on-call hours
