About The Position

This role involves leading a team of facilities associates and porters, planning and coordinating maintenance tasks, and ensuring the upkeep of building systems. The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, managing inventory, responding to emergencies, and training team members. Collaboration with other departments is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

Prior experience in maintenance or facility management, with leadership responsibilities.
Strong technical skills in various maintenance disciplines.
Effective leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with maintenance software and tools.
Must have night and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of facilities associates and porters.
Plan and coordinate maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance with Facilities Manager.
Maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
Train and mentor facilities associates to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with other departments to support facility-related needs.
