RxO - Maintenance Lead (1st Shift)
About The Position
The Maintenance Team Lead assists the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor in achieving business goals for quality, productivity, breakage, and costs. The role coordinates daily workflow and provides direction, coaching, and feedback to maintenance associates. The position maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs manufacturing equipment, as well as performing general facility maintenance and construction. It provides leadership, mentoring, training, and repair guidance to technicians; ensures maintenance work is completed effectively and efficiently; and verifies that repairs and services, labor hours, and parts used are properly documented. The lead is also responsible for safe maintenance practices and safety training, communicates with management and associates, participates in meetings to resolve outstanding issues, and performs additional duties or special projects as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of maintenance experience.
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Experience troubleshooting problems or issues using root cause analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and maintenance procedures, including mechanical, logic, pneumatic, and fluid power diagrams.
- Basic computer knowledge and math skills.
- Knowledge of and follow-through on safety procedures and standards, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out.

Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, and perform general facility maintenance and construction.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to subordinates while following management directives.
- Train personnel through regular coaching and identify opportunities for technical growth.
- Maintain production equipment, provide repair guidance to subordinates, and ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure technicians document repairs and services, including labor hours and parts used.
- Ensure subordinates follow safe maintenance practices and receive and adhere to safety training.
- Work with management to meet organizational needs, participate in meetings to resolve outstanding issues, and provide communication in both directions.
- Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.
