About The Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Lead to join our team. This role involves publishing and adjusting weekly work schedules, providing leadership and mentorship to maintenance technicians, and ensuring adherence to precision and safety standards. The Maintenance Lead will also audit field work, coach team members, and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. This position supports the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and job plans, assists in training new team members, and collaborates with supervisors and other departments to prioritize equipment repairs. The role includes performing root cause failure investigations, maintaining the maintenance shop and stockroom, and enforcing safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices, and company policies. The Maintenance Lead will utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System tools and lead daily maintenance tasks, reliability initiatives, and sanitation event planning.

Responsibilities

  • Publish and adjust weekly work schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to maintenance technicians, ensuring consistent adherence to precision and safety standards.
  • Audit field work regularly, coach team members, and oversee PM (Preventative Maintenance) and CM (Corrective Maintenance) tasks.
  • Support the development and maintenance of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and job plans to ensure standardization and accuracy.
  • Assist in training and orienting new team members, while identifying necessary training activities to build the team’s skill set.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to prioritize equipment repairs and plan work priorities.
