About The Position

This role involves leading and guiding the productivity of internal and external labor resources in the absence of the Maintenance Manager/Assistant Maintenance Manager or as assigned. The position also assists managers in the execution of the Safety Plan and facilitating safety-related activities, as well as in the development of associates. Key responsibilities include configuring new operations, equipment, or processes in SAP and repairing and maintaining facility equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
• Knowledge of maintenance practices
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics for all equipment and systems
• Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate time management skills (plan, organize and follow-through on tasks)
• Ability to teach others how to use manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Ability to analyze information and data
• Interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in written format, including developing training material and conducting presentations
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Knowledge of power and electrical systems and controls
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems
• Knowledge of manufacturing plant or distribution warehousing facilities
• Knowledge of safety pertaining to construction and maintenance
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations if working in a food manufacturing facility
• Knowledge of computer electronics, ladder logic, and electrical control systems, including programmable logic control systems
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and high voltage equipment
