Maintenance Laborer - 2nd Shift
About The Position
ATI is seeking a Maintenance Laborer for its Cudahy, Wisconsin facility. The role performs manual labor associated with maintenance work, assisting craftsmen such as masons, cement finishers, carpenters, and steam fitters. The position is for 2nd shift, with availability to train on 1st shift for 60 days, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The laborer uses hand tools and other equipment to carry out work assignments and may mix mortar or cement, tear up brickwork or concrete, and load and unload materials. Additional maintenance-related responsibilities may include assisting other plant areas and departments, as well as back-office functions, as assigned by department supervisors or craftsmen.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of manual labor experience.
Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing or factory experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor associated with maintenance work.
- Assist masons, cement finishers, carpenters, steam fitters, and other craftsmen as needed.
- Use shovels, picks, crow bars, sledgehammers, air hammers, hand trucks, and other equipment to perform work assignments.
- Mix mortar or cement as needed.
- Tear up brickwork or concrete as needed.
- Load and unload materials.
- Perform other assigned functions, including maintenance-related work, assistance in other plant areas and departments, and back-office functions.
