About The Position

ATI is hiring a Maintenance Laborer for its Cudahy, Wisconsin facility. The role is on 2nd shift and requires availability to train on 1st shift for 60 days, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Maintenance Laborers perform manual labor associated with maintenance work and assist craftsmen such as masons, cement finishers, carpenters, and steam fitters. The role may also include other maintenance-related duties, assisting other plant areas and departments, and back-office functions as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of manual labor experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior manufacturing or factory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor associated with maintenance work.
• Assist masons, cement finishers, carpenters, steam fitters, and other craftsmen as needed.
• Use shovels, picks, crow bars, sledgehammers, air hammers, hand trucks, and other equipment to perform work assignments.
• Mix mortar or cement, tear up brickwork or concrete, and load and unload materials as needed.
• Perform other functions assigned by department supervisors or craftsmen.
• Assist other plant areas and departments and perform back-office functions as required.
