Maintenance Technician - 1st shift
About The Position
The Maintenance Labor role is responsible for general cleaning of the shop area, including break rooms, restrooms, manufacturing floor aisles and parking lot. This position works as a team member utilizing and performing to the Maintenance Team skills matrix, which outlines the comprehensive skills in the Maintenance Team. The role may perform basic Maintenance duties and support Electrical Mechanical Technicians. Demonstrates a commitment to Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities in day to day work. Performs to ISO 9001 Quality Standards and abides to OSHA and EPA regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to be certified in overhead crane, Jib crane and forklift operation.

- 1 year of maintenance experience
Responsibilities
- Cleans shop break rooms and restrooms. Empty trash, wash windows, power sweep, power scrub and wash floors, clean countertops/surfaces, plumbing fixtures. Refill paper products and maintain supplies.
- Empty manufacturing floor trash into larger dumpster, and when necessary the larger dumpster into the compactor.
- Clean trash containers and dumpsters when needed using the high pressure washer in the wash booth.
- Bale cardboard in compactor when needed.
- Works in other areas of the Maintenance Team skills matrix, may perform basic Maintenance duties and support Electrical Mechanical Technicians.
- Demonstrates a commitment to Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities in day to day work.
- Performs to ISO 9001 Quality Standards and abides to OSHA and EPA regulations.
