About The Position

The Maintenance Technician performs routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting equipment problems, identifying root causes of mechanical or electrical failures, and carrying out preventive maintenance such as lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and inspections. The technician may install new equipment or assist with facility upgrades and layout changes. The position also requires keeping accurate work and maintenance records, interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals, communicating recurring issues or unsafe conditions to supervisors, and following safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1–2 years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, or dust.

Technical certification or trade school.

Responsibilities
