This position is in Carlsbad NM working in the Permian Basin oil fields installing VFDs and other 120/240v and 480v electrical equipment. We are looking for self-motivated, assertive, dependable individuals. As a Journeyman Electrician with DSI you will be working for a leading electrical-integration firm in the United States. You could be configuring and wiring various brands of AC/DC controllers and VFDs. Using electrical schematics, you will design, bend and fill conduit to proper code specifications. You will be working outdoors.
Requirements
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Team oriented and possess a strong commitment to safety and quality
- EOE and drug free workplace.
- Texas apprentice license
- 3 years of experience in oil and gas
Responsibilities
- Installing VFDs and other 120/240v and 480v electrical equipment.
- Configuring and wiring various brands of AC/DC controllers and VFDs.
- Using electrical schematics to design, bend and fill conduit to proper code specifications.
