About The Position

National Galvanizing is seeking an experienced Journeyman Maintenance Electrician to join our third-shift and second-shift maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, mentoring others, and playing a key role in keeping our operation running safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician or Journeyman Millwright certification.
• Candidates with a Journeyman Electrician license and strong mechanical/millwright experience or a Journeyman Millwright license with strong electrical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong team-oriented attitude.
• A willingness to teach, mentor, and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
• Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance.
• Mentor apprentices, newer maintenance employees, and frontline supervisors by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
