About The Position

Ivy Academy is seeking a dependable, hardworking seasonal maintenance and janitorial team member to support the daily upkeep and appearance of our 6–12 school campus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining clean and safe environments, and can tackle a variety of practical tasks. Hours are flexible, and we are committed to working with the right candidate to meet both school needs and the needs of our newest team member. The position is interim but may have the opportunity for permanent/full-time starting in October.

Requirements

Basic handyman or maintenance skills required
Ability to operate pressure washers and common maintenance tools
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing a ladder, and working outdoors
Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed

Nice To Haves

Experience with zero-turn mowers preferred
Prior school or facilities experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Operate a zero-turn mower to maintain school grounds
Perform pressure washing of sidewalks, buildings, and outdoor areas
Complete minor repairs and handyman tasks (e.g., fixing fixtures, tightening hardware, small repairs)
Conduct routine janitorial duties, including cleaning common areas and responding to occasional messes
Assist with general campus cleanup and maintenance projects
Support staff with facility-related needs as they arise
Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment
