About The Position
Stow Kent Animal Hospital is seeking a reliable, Maintenance Tech/Handyman to support the upkeep and functionality of our three local veterinary clinic locations. This role is ideal for someone who is self-sufficient, resourceful, and experienced in a wide range of maintenance tasks. The right candidate will take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our staff, clients, and patients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or related field
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repair practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to travel between locations
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as required
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across all three clinic locations
- Assist with minor electrical troubleshooting and advising
- Handle basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Complete painting projects and facility touch-ups as needed
- Perform routine building and grounds maintenance tasks
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Identify potential issues and proactively recommend solutions
- Coordinate larger repairs or specialized services when needed
