About The Position

Fenner Precision Polymers has an exciting internship opportunity with the Maintenance Team at several locations. This internship offers individual and cross-functional projects, professional career development, community outreach opportunities, and a final project overview presentation with the Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements

One year completed at a technical college or one year completed at a CTC/vocational school.
Must have mechanical and electrical skills.
Technical skills are the foundation of maintenance competency.
Problem-solving, communication, time management and teamwork.

PLC and drives experience

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance activities on all processing equipment.
Diagnose and repair equipment failures.
Determine material required for necessary repairs.
Utilize skills and knowledge in performance of daily repairs (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic of processing equipment).
Follow all procedures such as lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
Complete all jobs in an orderly manner.
Wear the required PPE at all times.
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition.
Shadow machine maintenance and facilities maintenance at different plants.
Troubleshoot issues with production equipment though the PLC programs.
