About The Position

Fenner Precision Polymers has an exciting internship opportunity with the Maintenance Team at several locations. As part of the Maintenance Team, you will perform scheduled maintenance activities on all processing equipment, diagnose and repair equipment failures, and determine material required for necessary repairs. You will utilize skills and knowledge in the performance of daily repairs (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic of processing equipment), follow all procedures such as lockout/tagout and safety procedures, and complete all jobs in an orderly manner. You will also wear the required PPE at all times, maintain your work area in a neat and orderly fashion, and keep equipment in proper working condition. Additionally, you will shadow machine maintenance and facilities maintenance at different plants and troubleshoot issues with production equipment through the PLC programs.

Requirements

• One year completed at a technical college or one year completed at a CTC/vocational school.
• Must have mechanical and electrical skills.
