About The Position

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at JLL, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of building systems and equipment for our valued client. This position is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable facility environment. You will lead preventative maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot complex utility systems, and respond to critical repair needs. Your technical expertise and proactive approach will directly contribute to operational excellence and client satisfaction, making you an integral part of JLL's commitment to delivering world-class facility management services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physical ability to move up to 49 lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Capability to perform repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking
  • Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, manual tasks (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
  • Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in Mechanical or HVAC fields
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Experience conducting preventative maintenance on facility equipment
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs
  • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and protocols
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all utility systems throughout the building to ensure optimal performance
  • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures to minimize equipment downtime
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various HVAC equipment and systems
  • Create and close out work orders with comprehensive data including labor hours, equipment maintenance records, and parts used
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with personnel
  • Develop and execute work plans for emergency repair of critical assets
