About The Position
Join Our Team as a Maintenance Tech at Fairfield by Marriott Carmel! Are you a hands-on, fix-it type who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in a job well done? We’re looking for a Maintenance Helper to support our engineering team and keep our hotel in top shape! If you’re reliable, hardworking, and ready to jump into a fast-paced hospitality environment, we want to meet you. Weekend availability is required, but in return, you’ll get to be part of a team that values your skills and supports your growth!
Requirements
- Ability to use basic tools, follow safety protocols, and complete tasks independently.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Positive, team-oriented, and willing to learn attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Prior maintenance or facilities experience is helpful but not required—we’ll train the right candidate!
Responsibilities
- Assist with basic repairs in guest rooms and public areas—light plumbing, painting, electrical, and more.
- Perform scheduled tasks to keep equipment, systems, and facilities running smoothly.
- Address guest and team member maintenance issues quickly, professionally, and with a smile.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of back-of-house areas like the maintenance shop, boiler room, and storage spaces.
- Work closely with our Maintenance Supervisor and General Manager to ensure the property is always looking and functioning its best.
