About The Position
Serra CDJR Lake Orion is seeking an Experienced Maintenance/Handyman to join our team in Lake Orion, MI. This role is integral to maintaining the overall upkeep and functionality of our facility to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a maintenance handyman or similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and best practices
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs
- Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues promptly and efficiently
- Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment as needed
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Comply with health and safety regulations in all tasks
