About The Position

The Maintenance Generalist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of all equipment and company assets within the specified facility or complex. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing various machinery and assets to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment and machinery.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to established safety protocols.
Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities
