About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to work in a dusty environment and in temperatures of 50 degrees F or less. Other duties will be assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

2 years prior Industrial Maintenance experience or Equivalent technical education
Six months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last twelve months or completion of technical/training program in the prior 12 months
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Completed at least 90 days since their last employment with Tyson and has not worked more than two times
Provide government identification number

Perform various positions as required/assigned
