Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent: certificate/Diploma Electrical Engineering Technician.
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with team members
Ability to maintain compliance with health and safety procedures in a safety-critical environment
Proficiency in performing basic maintenance tasks and conducting equipment inspections
Aptitude for troubleshooting and supporting building systems, fire alarm monitoring, and facility operations

Nice To Haves

Certificate of Fire alarm System monitoring and troubleshooting of Fire System is an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical maintenance activities to support facility operations
Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of mechanical equipment including air handling units, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers
Replace filters and maintain housekeeping standards in utility plants, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, and IT rooms
Conduct water testing activities in accordance with established procedures and water treatment requirements
Perform scheduled inspections and operational checks on equipment and systems
Support health, safety, and life safety processes while ensuring compliance with all site requirements
Assist trades personnel by transporting materials, equipment, and providing on-site maintenance support as required
