About The Position
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery to keep equipment running. It involves performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures. The role requires identifying all parts, supplies, and services needed to maintain equipment in the assigned area and completing work orders in a timely manner to reduce downtime and meet production goals.
Requirements
- 6 months of industrial Maintenance Experience or education.
- Must be able to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.
- All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
- There is a 365 days (12 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.
- Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
