About The Position
This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves operating a floor jack safely, coordinating with the Supervisor, and maintaining accurate records of finished product and packaging material. Daily operator checklists must be completed, and the Supervisor must be informed of any needed repairs or safety concerns. The role also includes keeping the production line supplied with pallets, condemned bins, and recyclable containers, verifying the accuracy of all materials and ingredients used on the production line, and assisting with line clean-up and sanitation following USDA/Tyson guidelines. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor are also part of this role.
Requirements
- Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
- Must have 6 months continuous work history in 2 years.
- All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
- This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.

Responsibilities

- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor.
