This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves monitoring equipment during production, making necessary repairs or adjustments, documenting corrections, and performing preventive maintenance. It also includes rebuilding and assisting with the installation of new equipment, as well as general maintenance throughout the facility. The job requires manual tasks such as greasing, oil changes, and cleaning equipment, as well as monitoring equipment and computer boards. Troubleshooting mechanical problems using schematics and blueprints is a key responsibility. The position may require working other shifts when necessary and requires strict adherence to safety rules like Lockout/Tagout and OSHA standards. Weekend work is mandatory. Collaboration with other maintenance personnel is essential, as is the ability to work with fragile devices requiring precise attention. All other duties as requested by the supervisor will also be part of the role.
