About The Position
As a Fuel Island Inspector, you will make a difference by inspecting our trucks and trailers as they enter our facility and look for mechanical deficiencies that need to be addressed. You will work with our maintenance technicians to schedule repairs and help keep our drivers safe and productive. You will create Driver Success by ensuring that our drivers have the proper and well-maintained equipment to do their work.
Requirements
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness and ability to learn proper repair techniques.
- Comfortable working outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Valid and current driver's license.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- High level of mechanical aptitude but has not had either the formal education or experience in a diesel shop.
Responsibilities
- Inspect trucks and trailers entering the facility for mechanical deficiencies.
- Identify mechanical deficiencies that need to be addressed.
