About The Position

The Former Tech primary responsibility will be all critical forming equipment, including Marel Revo, Formax Vertex and F-26, and Risco stuffers. The role requires the ability to travel for outside training, comprehend the training, and demonstrate hands-on abilities learned. The position involves assisting or performing preventative and corrective tasks on process and facility equipment, requiring basic mechanical and electrical skills. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as special equipment tools, is necessary. The role also demands the ability to complete daily computer tasks for PM and work orders, ensuring accuracy and clarity in documentation. Punctuality and adherence to safety, manufacturing, and food safety policies are essential. The individual must be motivated to increase knowledge and gain experience in all aspects of the Maintenance field.

Requirements

  • Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Knowledgeable with the proper use of hand and power tools as well as all special equipment tools.
  • Ability to complete daily computer tasks required to keep PM and work orders up to date.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform physical work in all conditions and with exposure to potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen.
  • Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio.
  • Ability to stand or be on his/her feet for long periods on hard surfaces.
  • Ability to perform continuous and repetitive motion, including lifting, pushing and pulling product and/or objects, as well as bending, twisting and reaching with the torso.
  • Ability to lift items in excess of fifty pounds (requires team lift).
