We are currently seeking a skilled lead maintenance tech to join our team in Sacramento. A successful candidate will bring a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent communication skills, eagerness to move into a higher-level position, and experience in a manufacturing plant. Requirements

  • 5-10 years’ maintenance experience required
  • Certification from college or technical school preferred
  • Demonstrable experience may be accepted in lieu of credentials
  • Requires ability to use standard test and measurement equipment.
  • Able to accurately read and utilize technical drawings, diagrams and prints.
  • Excellent working knowledge mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial controls
  • Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment in all of the aforementioned areas.
  • Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Looking for self-motivated individuals able to analyze and resolve machine related production problems.
  • Pay is commensurate with experience and demonstrated knowledge.
  • General testing may be required prior to employment offer.
  • Read, write and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to work/stand for long periods of time, work off ladders and man lifts.
  • Heavy lifting may be required
  • Hand dexterity and strength

Responsibilities

  • Primary duties are the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production machinery in support of the overall production process.
  • Ancillary duties are the support of plant and service equipment.
  • Will be working hands-on with distributed automated controls and PLC’s, electrical sensory devices, electronic drives, AC/DC motors, and machinery hydraulics.
  • Repair of pumps, valves and cylinders, pneumatic and vacuum systems.
  • Maintain required equipment logs.
  • Responsible for planning work time to meet all needs of the plant.
  • Modify existing equipment for new uses.
