About The Position

At Molin Sioux Falls, we don’t just manufacture precast concrete, we help build the communities where we live, work, and play. As we continue to grow across the Midwest, we are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Maintenance Foreman/Lead II with a proven track record of building teams that work collaboratively to achieve company goals and objectives. This position supports the daily operations of the Maintenance Department within a precast/prestressed concrete manufacturing environment. This role provides oversight to the maintenance team which includes development of the team through ongoing training, coaching, and development, along with ensuring high quality completion of tasks and projects.

Requirements

  • 4 plus years of applicable maintenance experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) is required
  • Sound understanding of the principles of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
  • Ability to teach, train, and inspect the work of others while giving timely, accurate feedback
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment
  • Lift up to 75 lbs on a limited basis and 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to meet work the stated schedule for the position
  • Work in a variety of environments inclusive of an indoor production environment and outdoor weather conditions which can be variable based on the season
  • Walk, stand throughout a scheduled shift

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or higher in applicable electrical or automation field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists supervisor in managing employees and prioritizing work for the department
  • Read and follow blueprints, material lists and guidelines, and apply necessary timelines
  • Prioritize and plan work activities and deploy the team in an efficient manner to ensure completion
  • Ensure safety is at the forefront of all work and proper safety policy and procedure is being followed
  • Ability to instruct and demonstrate proper use of equipment, tools, and safety equipment
  • Organizes, supervises, leads, and motivates team members to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframes
  • Committed to reaching goals and meeting deadlines
  • Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Team member training, coaching, and development
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools electric meters, and material handling equipment
  • Install and maintain production machines and equipment
  • Perform unscheduled repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment
  • Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair throughout the facility
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
  • Repair and operate a variety of power tools and equipment
  • Supports the company vision, mission, and development of the culture by modeling these behaviors as a leader within the company
