About The Position

Evergreen Residential is seeking Maintenance Field Technicians to support its growing single-family residential and build-to-rent portfolio in Columbia, South Carolina. The role focuses on post-renovation repairs, smart-home troubleshooting, occupied maintenance, eviction checks, and move-in and move-out inspections. The position involves coordinating with residents and reviewing weekly performance progress with the Head of Construction.

Requirements

At least 2 years of work experience in a related position, including residential maintenance experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Proficiency with prospect and resident management systems.
Motivated self-starter.
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Flexibility and ability to operate effectively in a changing environment and/or with ambiguity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

HVAC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Install marketing yard signs and remove them at occupancy.
Complete minor post-renovation repairs as needed.
Install and troubleshoot smart-home technology issues.
Perform pre-move-in inspections 72 hours before move-in.
Conduct HOA violation checks.
Conduct in-person evictions and lockouts.
Perform recurring occupancy checks.
Coordinate and conduct move-out walks with residents.
Schedule and complete occupied maintenance work orders.
Review progress against KPIs weekly with the Head of Construction.
Communicate promptly and professionally with residents regarding outstanding violations.
