About The Position

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and systems to support a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. The role involves routine inspections and preventative maintenance, repairs, maintaining an orderly work area, and responding to requests from hotel staff and guests with minimal disruption. The position calls for mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills, attention to detail, energy, and leadership qualities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Complete painting, wallpaper, and other repair tasks to maintain the hotel's aesthetic and operational standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, providing customer service and minimizing disruption.
• Coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities.
