About The Position

The Courtyard by Marriott Sedona is seeking an Evening Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, with an engineering inclination and a willingness to try new things. While prior engineering experience is a plus, it is not required. Success in this position hinges on your drive to succeed, passion for creating a great guest experience, and reliability as a key member of the evening hotel team. Full-time or part-time hours are available, with mandatory availability on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Requirements

Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Friday and Saturday evening availability is a must.

Nice To Haves

Prior engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain all areas of the hotel in accordance with the standards of Sunridge by performing preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.
Provide value-added service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Handle difficult situations effectively.
Understand and implement preventative maintenance.
Repair and maintain all hotel and guestroom areas.
Adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
Attend work on time as scheduled.
Follow hotel grooming and dress standards.
Minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
At all times project a favorable image of Sunridge and the hotel to the public.
Perform such other ancillary and related duties as may be assigned by the supervisors and or the General Manager.
